Meryl Mixtacki found photography a little later in life, but you wouldn't know that by looking at her breathtaking work. Although her photographic images of floral arrangements are in the foreground of her focus, even in her people, places and things there are a unique quality that shows her special style and creative insight of the photographic genre.  She has lived in Wisconsin all of her life and enjoys shooting all the seasons that are so very special to this climate.

Meryl loves to find the beauty and the light in many things she photographs.

Sunlight coming through a flower, the reflections of the land, intricate fingers of heaven’s bounty are never off limits for her insightful moments in time. 

She and her husband, Steve, have raised 2 children, Mindy and Michael.  While realizing that change happens every day, she captured their lives with enthusiastic passion, capturing rare moments that will always be remembered. Now with a grandchild, her delight for capturing life’s moments has been amplified in changing expressions.

Meryl’s passion for taking flower portraits shows in her editing, watching how the process makes them come alive. Many of the flower pictorials are taken in her own garden, watching them from early morning glory to the last light of the earth's day.   Each part of the day creates unique and innovative ideas and ways to capture God's floral wonder.

 She continues to learn and grow with the photographic industry and enjoys every waking moment and image.
